Boogie Woogie : 2007 UK Dorset Festival - Short Movie Clips

Grand Finale of the 2007 UK Boogie Woogie Festival, where *ALL* the artists get together to make an exciting, feel-good ending to the evening concert performance. Far too many musicians and performers to list individually here {at least 16!!}. Suffice to say, a good time was had by one and all!

Boogie Woogie Piano Duets are always great crowd-pleasers at the UK Festival, and they don't come much better than when played by The Piano Brothers, Marcel and Heinz Brunner, who made the trip from Switzerland. The chemistry between the two brothers out on stage is terriffic to watch!

It's fair to say that Jack 'Kid' Carters breath-taking Boogie Woogie Piano playing is perhaps best described as 'fast and furious' - but as you will see on the video, it's a great style and real crowd pleaser! Local Sax Player Howard Meyrick does his best to keep up with some excellent solo work.

Workshops and Masterclasses are an important part of the Festival and this Movie shows selected highlights of both the Boogie Woogie Piano Masterclass and Drum Workshop. The Piano Class was given by Julian Phillips, whilst Jon Neilson offered up lots of advice in his Drums Workshop.
